Faye Valentine has a gargantuan debt to pay and Gordon, the owner of the casino "Spiders From Mars," promises to clear this debt if she would collect a mysterious casino chip. Unfortunately, Faye encounters Spike who she mistakes for the holder of the chip. The chip falls into Spike's hands when he bumps into the guy. The guy is murdered after failing to give the chip to Gordon.

EYECATCH

     Jet and Spike capture Faye and handcuff her to their toilet. Spike learns that there is a bounty on Faye and Jet finds that there is a microchip inside the casino chip. The chip is the key to unlocking a powerful decryption program. The bounty hunters do business with Gordon, 30 million Woolongs for the chip. Meanwhile, Faye escapes the "Bebop." Spike goes into space to exchange the chip with Gordon's men. Predictably, Gordon attempts to kill Spike before he receives the money. After the confrontation, Faye leaves with the money promised to Spike and Jet. Gordon's ship is blown to bits. In the end, Spike and Jet prepare to make one final gamble with the elusive chip.
