Roco is a nice guy who got mixed up with the wrong crowd. He meets Spike ion board a space shuttle heading for Venus and immediately idolizes him and wishes to be Spike's martial arts student. But when Spike gives Roco his first lesson, Roco spots a few gangsters and runs away, giving Spike a sack he was carrying. Roco turns out to be one of Spike's next targets according to Jet, inside the sack is a rare ash plant, stolen by Roco. Spike heads to a desert to find Roco but he finds a girl pointing a gun at him instead.

     The confrontation ends when Spike tells the girl that he knows her brother, Roco. It turns out that Roco is a thief only to support his sister, Stella. She is blind because of a sickness caused by the plants used to terraform Venus. Spike looks into a music box that Roco sent Stella and finds gray ash plant seeds, seeds that are very rare and expensive. Spike secretly meets Roco again and reveals to him that he is a bounty hunter. Rocco tells Spike to run, knowing that their meeting was intended to trap Spike. The gangsters reveal themselves and a fight breaks out. Roco utilizes what he learned from Spike and tosses one of the men. But then he is shot. He drops the ash plant, killing it. Spike meets Stella one more time to tell her what a great brother she had.
