The bounty hunters are out of food and stranded in a desert on Io after a "hit and run" incident. Ed and Ein go to town to find food and gets mixed up with an illegal mushroom dealer named Domino, and his enemies. In a hasty escape, Domino drops a dozen mushrooms. Hungry Ein eats one and begins to squeak uncontrollably...

EYECATCH

     Ed and Ein return to the "Bebop" with the mushrooms. Ed tricks the bounty hunters into eating them. After they eat the mushrooms, they start to act strangely... Jet happily converses with his bonsai about life, Faye takes a mental swim in the toilet and Spike has a very hard time climbing the steps in the den... Ed discovers that Domino has a bounty on his head and goes to town to hunt him. Investigating, Ed discovers that Domino owns the ship that hit the "Bebop" earlier. After a brief chase, Domino gives Ed a stash of "valuable" mushrooms in exchange for freedom. The bounty hunters encounter a policeman who discovers that the mushrooms are plain shitake mushrooms... At least the bounty hunters won't be hungry!
