Faye reminisces her past when speaking to Ein one day. She tells him about the time when she awakened from cryogenic sleep with her memory missing and a large hospital bill to pay. Faye met and fell in love with a man named Witney who ultimately sacrificed himself to save Faye. All of his assets were transferred to Faye... all of his debts. Faye still doesn't mind the slight increase to the amount she owes. He did lose his life for Faye, didn't he? Jet suddenly returns with a new bounty head, a con man who deceives women, Witney Hagas Matsumoto!

     Witney has gained a lot of weight to change his identity but Faye still recognizes him. Faye tries to squeeze the truth about her past out of him. She foolishly stuffs him into "Red Tail" and takes off. Spike goes after her, trying to prevent her from losing their bounty. In space, Witney confesses that he actually knows nothing about Faye's past. Faye may never learn of her past but Spike encourages her to look toward the future.
