On a day off, a monster is mysteriously loose onboard the "Bebop." Jet is bitten by it and quickly loses consciousness. Spike has trouble identifying the poison that the creature carries. Ein is startled and runs into the bowels of the ship and Ed runs after him, ignoring Spike's advice to stick together. Faye is the next to fall. It is up to Spike, Ed and Ein to hunt the creature down before it causes more trouble.

EYECATCH

     Ein falls prey to the creature and Ed is missing. Spike is the only one left standing and he decides to face the monster. Soon, he encounters the glob, shoots it and then proceeds to blast it with a flame thrower. Spike smells a familiar smell which arouses his appetite. It is then when he remembers that he had a lobster in the back of an old fridge in the cargo hold... it had been there for over a year and had mutated into something unspeakable... He proceeds to throw out the fridge but then the monster surprises him and he is bitten... The fridge is projected into deep space while the bounty hunters remain unconscious. A sleeping Ed opens her eyes and encounters the goop... she eats it, and then falls back to sleep.
